Carpet Cleaning
Regular Maintenance Carpet Cleaning
This example shows a routine carpet clean carried out in a well-maintained home in Exeter. In many homes, cleaning is focused on specific areas such as traffic lanes, seating positions or day-to-day wear, rather than heavy soiling throughout. Our approach is always careful and methodical, using the correct process for each carpet to achieve a clean, fresh and well-finished result.
End of Tenancy Restoration Carpet Cleaning
Carpet cleaning carried out at the end of tenancy, where the property required a more thorough restoration to bring it back to a good standard. In these situations, carpets can show heavier wear, staining or general soiling built up over time. Our approach remains the same — careful inspection, appropriate treatment and methodical cleaning to achieve the best possible result. While not all carpets can be fully restored, professional cleaning can significantly improve appearance, freshness and overall presentation.

Oriental Rug Cleaning
Regular maintenance oriental rug cleaning
Oriental rugs can hold a tremendous amount of dry sandy soil, even from new! This very fine dust cannot be removed in your home, so we remove them to our rug cleaning workshop in Exeter where the job can be done in a safe controlled environment. Regular maintenance cleaning of oriental rugs is very important. This collection of fine rugs came from a long standing regular customer near Tiverton in Devon. They return to our workshop every year for a thorough dusting and maintenance clean. If you require oriental rug cleaning in Devon or Somerset contact Masterclean, we will be happy to help.
Restoration oriental rug cleaning
Many oriental rugs arrive in our rug cleaning workshop in a tired state. Full of dry sandy soil, matted pile, colours flat and subdued. Oriental rugs and runners are very often placed in very high traffic areas, quickly collecting ground in dirt and dust. This persian rug collected from Colyton Raleigh between Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth really was in a sorry state, requiring specialist vacuuming and rug dusting multiple times before dye stability and pile distortion tests. After a thorough clean with mildly acidic cleaning solutions the results speak for themselves. A clean, fresh rug now restored to it's former glory with bold, vivid colours was then carefully wrapped and returned to its delighted owner. If you would like your rug collected for cleaning but are not sure if we cover your town please view our Areas We Cover page.
Specialist Stain Removal
Maintenance stain removal - attention to detail
Stain removal can be a tricky process, they can come in many different forms and can be caused by all manner of sometimes unavoidable circumstances. However on this occasion they were avoidable. A previous clean carried out by the customer with a hire machine left the carpet very wet, no furniture pads for legs and feet were used which resulted in some quite nasty rust stains all over the carpet. Fortunately the customer had not attempted to remove them herself with proprietary cleaning products and the technicians managed to completely remove them.
Restoration Stain Removal
This example shows specialist stain removal carried out on upholstery and carpets where marking had built up over time or through accidental spills. Stains can vary significantly depending on their cause, the fabric or fibre involved, and how long they have been present. Successful removal requires careful identification and the correct treatment process for each individual situation.
Our approach is always measured and methodical, using professional products and techniques to achieve the best possible improvement while protecting the integrity of the material.
While some staining can be significantly reduced or removed, results will always depend on the nature of the stain and the condition of the fabric.
